She grew up at Hurley where she graduated from Hurley High School in 1955. After having worked at Nelson’s Store in Hurley she was united in marriage to Dean Polley on June 26, 1960 at Hurley. They moved to Sioux Falls shortly after they where married. For 16 years she was a companion to Joe Holzbauer of Wagner, SD, he died in 2016. Edna Ruth Woodcock, 85, of Escatawpa, MS passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 surrounded by her family.
