The service is slower than average and the staff is not very patient either. Their wine list is the better part in their menu. If you choose to try this place, don't expect much.

We had a very good meal, a nice buffet with lot's of variety. Good service from the staff as well. Compliments for handling such a big group.
I do love working for The Home Depot, because I just think it’s a wonderful place to work. I love the bonding, co-workers, and most of all I like the advancement that the company has. We were part of the Australian team exhibiting at Automechanika Frankfurt 2016 and the association hosted us to a splendid dinner at Deport 1899. The food was divine, the service was excellent, the setting was awesome and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a very good evening. I have visited this restaurant several times with family and also hosting groups of students. We visited this nice place with a group of 200 people.

And the things you learn on the job are things that can directly help you. If you have an apartment, if you have a home, if you want to go out on your own and do contractor handyman work, you’re going to learn so much. The hours, the time we come in, the time we get off. I still have time to do things in the afternoon and in today’s economy, you want to have a job you know is going to be there. They are not getting ready to go out of business.

I feel confident to maybe one day open my own small business. A 401k is an amazing program we have here. Lots of trucks coming inbound to unload and then we are loading trucks to go to stores, so there is a lot of forklift traffic. This restaurant is situated in a converted old tram depot, with the decor themed around it's history. The food is good German fare, nothing fancy but large portions.
From the moment you walk through these doors, you start feeling welcomed. Home Depot is a great company to work for simply because they want you to grow. They don’t want you to be stuck at one position. So if you want to further your career at The Home Depot, this is the place to be.
I’ve been in other industries and I would never leave Home Depot, because I love the working environment. I love my fellow peers and my management team. They’re wonderful people to work with. I have stopped at Depot 1899 for lunch and left neither impressed nor satisfied. Their set of German tapas is far from meeting the expectations.

The meal description didn't do it any justice. Frankfurter Pfanne consists of sausage , bacon, sauerkraut, pan fried potatoes. There was an delicious sauce strategically poured over the Pfanne, just enough to add another flavor dimension.
They are taking care of me and I thank them for that every day. Vacation time and the company is very good if you need a day off. So the work that we do here at night is basically we unload trucks. And then we, as a team, pack everything out onto the shelves. Make sure that the shelves are packed down and straightened fully. And make the store, basically, grand opening ready every morning.
